In case you didn't hear about Jackalope already, it's an alternative sports event held at the Olympic Stadium in Montreal on july 19-20. Just like last year, there will be a skateboard contest, some Freestyle Motocross, Fixedgear, Longboard, and many other disciplines. The best part about this year's event is that they decided to throw some BMX in the mix! There is not much information available about the BMX part but it says something about a best trick on friday the 19th at 5:30pm, and I heard that there will be a bunch of boxes and probably a boxjump, so you should definitely go check it out to support the sport and local events!
